About K/Nerd
Hi I’m Anja Rau, and this is my professional weblog.
About Yours Truly …
I’m a User Experience Planner at Leo Burnett’s in Frankfurt (Leo Burnett Germany website). I did (and will again sometime soon) blog here (Flickwerk - have a look at the Flickwerk archives for full Sidewinder-glory) and do sometimes blog here (Medienmittwoch Website - my last contribution: Wann ist mobil mobil?).
Every now and again, I write here (TEKKA) and review here (Game Studies).
Check out my phd-thesis on co-creativity in digital fiction: What You Click is What You Get: Die Stellung von Autoren und Lesern in interaktiver digitaler Literatur (download PDF, 1.4 MB, in German).

About the layout
Oh, and about the layout: this is the most basic wordpress template. Yes. I hate coding in the park, so I guess it’ll be later this fall until get I around to changing the looks round here.
070511 I played with the template a little and settled on the nice little template from Oinam Software - for the time being. But I’m not happy. This is not legible. This is not wide enough. And this whole Wordpress affair required far more fiddling with the engine than I’m happy to invest right now.
The new design is roughly based on the Wordpress default, but I guess I changed a good 95% in the progress. I shuffled the template tags around a lot, cleaned out the CSS, messed it up again and then layed it out on the side of my Chinese drawers.
About the rest
This blog runs on Wordpress and a 1und1 hosting plan.
